There are few things cooler than an amazing new way to do PowerPoint slides. I’ve just uploaded an embedded version of the sermon that I preached on Sunday for Father’s Day. Admittedly, I got a bit carried away with the whole slide thing and if I was to be really honest I think it personally distracted me from some of the things I really wanted to say. But hey, we live and learn. For what it’s worth I think that we could all learn something from what Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 2:9-12.
I’m hoping that even if you are not a father, you’ll catch the essence of a father an learn how to sow and build where there is nothing there. I’m so thankful for the Dads in my life that have sown in me and built me up with exhortation, encouragement and with strong charge to walk in a manner worthy of God. These by the way are the three application points of the sermon
