Christ-centred theme for November

For the month of November we will be doing a preview of our 2011 yearly theme. For the whole of next year, we will be looking at the concept of being Christ-centred. I’m so thrilled to be able to run that for the whole year, and even more excited to be previewing it for you starting this weekend.

It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve hit the pulpit (off doing a wedding and running the Trivia Night) and so it’ll be really good to get back into the swing of things. This first week is actually a really pivotal piece in the Christ-centred puzzle. We look at the topic:

Why Christ?

So if you want to bring along a friend, or if you are exploring Christianity … or maybe Christianity just doesn’t really make sense to you. I’d really encourage you to come along. I’ve designed our slides based on the number one … not so much because Christ is the first among many things that need to be given priority in your life … but rather … because of this:

When you reduce Christianity down to its core. You don’t get a bunch of teachings, principles to live by … you don’t even get a world view or a way of life. At its very core. you only get one thing.

Christ.

Come see what that is all about.
