Welcome to the area of our site where we preview what we will be preaching at our newly launched 2nd service. The first theme is the “Amazing Gospel”, but you know what, even that name isn’t going to be the name we finally go with. I’m keen to hear your comments on how we can best present the gospel and how we can fully unpack it in a way that will stay and transform the lives of people who come for the service.
Here’s the current write up, hopefully we can change that even:
“What is the gospel, and what is so miraculous about it? For so many of us, the gospel is just a bunch of Christian statements that … well sound pretty amazing, but have no real practical effect on our daily lives. In fact, most weeks go by, and we hardly even think about the gospel and how it is supposed to daily change the way we live. What if you’re not a Christian? what is the gospel then? Just something that religious people talk about to make other people do what they say?
Why don’t you come along and find out first hand how this thing called the gospel not only transformed the world 2,000 years ago, but how its power stretches to the hectic, always moving world of today.
